The Zhiguli is the most beautiful place of the Volga river which is called the Volga Switzerland, Volga here with abrupt turns, powerful river , deep river. In 1910 the famous Samara`s engineer Gleb Zheganovsky had an idea, that place is siutable for constructing Hydrostation. Hydrostation had been started to bild near Gigulevskim gate in 1937, but construction was stopped, because of the war. The history was kept only in photos of the Museum Of Local Lore and still dug half from "The Tzar barrow ".
